Andrew (he/him) leads the dedicated lawyers at Furgiuele Law.  Andrew has wanted to be a criminal lawyer for as long as he can remember, and he is passionate about defending clients. Andrew is experienced in both trials and appeals.  He appears at all levels of court and specializes in complex matters. Andrew also represents clients in quasi-criminal and regulatory cases, frequently defending professionals facing misconduct allegations.

Before practicing, Andrew graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto in 2007 and won the Alan A. Mewett Q.C. Prize in criminal law.  Andrew is regularly interviewed in the media for his criminal law expertise and is often invited to speak at conferences and seminars. He is a lecturer at his alma mater where he has taught criminal procedure. He was a Director of the Criminal Lawyers' Association from 2013-2017 and was a founding member of the Recent Call Committee of the Criminal Lawyers' Association. He is also part of a team of experienced appellate lawyers who assist self-represented individuals at the Court of Appeal as part of its duty counsel project.

Above all, Andrew is focused on helping his clients achieve the best possible result in their cases. When he's not working, Andrew loves nothing more than spending time with his family and complaining about each of Toronto's professional sports teams.
